There’s nowhere left for us to go. It’s time to face the facts. We’ve all become our greatest foe. The world is off its track.
We’re going down to our demise And we’re the ones to blame. For all too late we saw the signs, And now we die in flames.
The balanced weights are just too great, A load the world can’t lift. We’ve opened up the greatest gate,
One with EarthOne with EarthOne with Earth
I step outside And breathe in deep. Eyes open wide, I’m not asleep.
I cannot tame This world so free. I cannot name This joy in me.
Allow my mind To take this in. No longer blind, My change begins.
I take the world For what it’s worth. My soul unfurls, Now one with earth.

I’ve watched as you stand, Head hanging down low.
You won’t take my hand, But still you should know:
I want to bring life To lackluster eyes. To end all your strife, To stifle your cries.
You tell me you’re fine And beg me to stop. To give up the fight And leave you to drop.
But how can I live If you go away? So still I shall give, To get you to stay.
I’ll keep you alive, When you want to die. Allow you to live Till time for goodbye.

older generations often fear the younger choice of head banging made up noise and cringe at the piercings and darkened clothes of the young, both girls and boys
